After a cold and cloudy February month, spring finally came in March with a good weather and cherry blossoms ! We hope that you did a good 花見 under those beautiful trees ((´∀｀))🌸
First of all, for craft, children made Saint Patrick’s day cards. They glued two fancy shamrocks with a rainbow and a cauldron full of gold. Only the leprechaun is missing, don’t you think so ?
By the way, do you know what is Saint Patrick’s day ? It’s a cultural holiday celebrated on 17th March in Ireland, in England and in America. On this day, it is customary to wear shamrocks, green clothing or green accessories (like a leprechaun) (^▽^)
For cooking class, children ate Hurricane popcorn. It is a special snack from Hawaii made with popcorn and others salty ingredients like seaweeds or mochi crunch ☆ They were very surprised by the taste and the texture but they loved it very much 😋
This month, Kid’s song was「Saint Patrick’s day」♪
With this song, they learned how to spell the color green, the color that represents Saint Patrick’s day♪
It was a very funny song to sing with them (*⌒▽⌒*)
Finally, on March 24th and 30th, we organized spring class to celebrate spring and the new school year. With children, we made special spring crafts, ate yummy snacks and went outside to see the beautiful cherry blossoms. It was so cute to see their amazed faces in front of the cherry blossoms ((*´∀｀*))🌸
